The school incorporates Chinese and British core values of teamwork, pragmatism, community, participation and resilience. The school’s unique education system gives students a global perspective whilst also fostering their patriotism. As China progresses further onto the world stage, this school will prepare its students to excel both in China and abroad.

The curriculum combines the best aspects from both the Chinese and the international curriculum.  Students quickly become bilingual, through immersion in English from the age of three. The wide curriculum will enable the students to make cross-cultural links and develop their understanding of the world. The students’ language skills will develop quickly through a diverse range of subjects and activities, which will enable them to use their languages in a realistic setting.

The Junior School will combine the Chinese core curriculum and, in addition, include extra subjects taught in English and a diverse range of activities.  This will enable the students to develop their linguistic skills even further, ready for a seamless transition to IGCSE and A Level.

The Lower Senior School will build on the successes of the Junior School. As in the Junior School, we will combine the Chinese core curriculum with extra subjects taught in English, as well as a diverse range of activities. The school will also teach Chinese cultural education, moral education and STEM education as a central part of the students’ overall development. The Senior School plans to offer a range of extra-curricular courses.

!n the Upper Senior School, the students will study IGCSEs and A Levels to enable them to apply for the top British universities. It will also offer a unique academic program in moral and cultural education. All subjects (apart from Chinese) will be taught in English. In addition, it will offer SAT preparatory courses for students planning to apply for American universities. The extra-curricular program is designed to challenge students and give them a taste for new, exciting and stimulating activities.
