Head of Primary - Qatar
Durham School for Girls Doha is seeking to appoint and inspirational Head of Primary to join the leadership team for April 2021 (or August 2021).
As Head of Primary, you will work directly with the Principal and will take over a great team. The Primary school is flourishing and has made amazing progress in the 18months of being open. Your role will be fundamental in growing and developing the Primary department and hands on in the moulding and design of the school. The school are looking for a leader who is ready for the challenge, passionate about learning and have the vision and flexibility to become part of one of the most exciting projects in Qatar.
Durham School for Girls opened in 2019 and the school has nearly 1000 students. The school will expand again in 2021 with Year 11 and 12 and the first Year 13 students will start in 2022 with an expected growth to 1200 students. The primary school is 4 form entry and has over 600 amazing girls from Nursery to Year 6.
Following in the footsteps of Durham School UK, Durham School for Girls Doha aims to continue the heritage of strong pastoral care, inclusion and individual progress that make the School “Distinctively Durham”. Within the school there will be a strong ethos based on the school philosophy and values. Centred around the girl’s individual development, we aim to ensure that we strive for a balance in both academic and personal, social development ensuring confidence for life.
