Deputy Head - Singapore

Tanglin Trust School, a prestigious BSO international school in Singapore, is seeking to appoint a Deputy Head (Academic) for September 2022.

The Deputy Head (Academic) will be responsible for the strategic leadership and day to day management of academic provision in the Senior School.

The position is for a teaching role for the Academic Year 2022/23.

The successful candidate will provide evidence of successful senior leadership experience and proven experience of leading and developing strategic initiatives with particular focus on the academic.

They will become a member of the Senior School Leadership Team (SSLT), and responsible for the planning, monitoring and promotion of the academic life of the Senior School.

They will lead on several key whole school strategic initiatives and will have responsibility for creating a bridge between the Institute@ Tanglin and the Senior School to support the intellectual journey of all students.

They will also be expected to contribute to the day-to-day management of the Senior School, as well as the development of Senior School policies, practices and procedures to ensure that the school mission, vision and core aims are met.

A minimum of 2 but preferably 3 to 4 years of post PGCE or QTS experience in the British Curriculum, is required.
