Latin America

"Adventure never stops, in the streets of Rio where carnivals play to the great heights of the Andes mountains."
Latin America has spirit and the entire region approaches life with enthusiasm. This latin spirit can be seen through many of its colourful and vibrant cities, from Santiago, Quito and Lima on the Pacific side to Sao Paulo, Montevideo and Buenos Aires on the Atlantic.
International schooling is becoming increasingly popular for local families wanting a British or IB curricula education. For wealthier families they also seek opportunities for their children to study at universities in both the UK and US and these schools provide the foundation for such ambitions.
Many British curriculum schools have changed their academic year to come more in line with the northern hemisphere and this means that teachers do not need to break contracts elsewhere to relocate here.
Salaries are lower in many countries of Latin America compared to other regions we recruit to but so too is the cost of living. International schools generally provide flights and some even offer accommodation. The cost of travel around this part of the world makes it accessible for the teacher wishing to travel around, which after all is a large part of moving to this continent.
