Far East & South-East Asia

"With oriental charm, this spectrum of nations offer a truly cultural experience within modern cities to vast rural lands."

Asia is rich culture and offers so much variety for the travelling teacher. Within the nations of Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia, teachers experience an exotic and relaxed lifestyle whereas for the city type, the fast-paced buzz of Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore will suit.

The growth of international schooling can be seen across all parts of Asia. Like other parts of the world, local families are seeking a British or international based education realising the value of these curricula taught by English-speaking teachers.

The physical nature of their schools can provide teachers with an international breadth of intake through to more local bilingual systems, enabling some teachers to immerse themselves deeper into local life.

International schools offer similiar packages to the Middle East. The benefits can be extensive providing teachers with flights, accommodation, dependant schooling and various allowances. By comparison to the UK, salaries appear lower but so too is the cost of living so life and travel can be enjoyed much more cheaply.
